Dream
So in my dream I get off a train (which is actually more like a rollercoaster) onto a platform, which isn’t actually a platform, it’s a train track and there’s a train coming straight at me. So I’ve no choice but to jump into the train/rollercoaster before it hits me, even though it’s going to Newcastle.
Now I really wanted to sit on the platform check out the boards, find my train I was looking for and await its arrival but now I’m on a train that I don’t want to be on and there are STILL no platforms for me to get off at. Another train/rollercoaster passes my train at a safe enough distance for me to jump into… So I jump on, despite me not knowing its destination, just that it’s not Newcastle and that’s good enough for me– No offence Newcastle. After some more train jumping I soon realise there just is no platforms what so ever… and it’s not possible to get off and wait for the train that I actually want to catch. So I guess if I really do want to get on this train that I’m looking for then I’ll just have to continuously jump trains (which look more like rollercoasters remember) and hope that eventually my destination train will pass a train… that I am on… at a safe enough distance for me to jump onto it.
…Thing is if I stay on one train for too long I’m unfortunately getting closer to a destination that I don’t want to be at. I can always get comfortable and end up at the end of the line on a train I don’t want to be at, and put my train jumping days behind me. But if I genuinely want to catch this damn train that I was looking for (Probably 3 minutes ago in real time, but more like 2 days in dream time) Then I can’t give up jumping, and I must keep trying to find it.
What a dream.
Anyway I woke up and decided I was still really sleepy and went back to sleep for abit. Clearly wasn’t motivational enough.
